Blue Soccer Team
by Javier Carrillo
Raye McCoy Elementary

I am a true fan of a team named Chivas. I had a dream when I was asleep. My mom told me that she had bought some tickets for the soccer game. When I woke up my dream came true. That made me happy. All week I was waiting until the day of the game. That was going to be the biggest game against our biggest rivals America. I wanted to go so bad because I wanted to get an autograph from my favorite soccer player, Omar Bravo. The whole stadium was full of fanatic Chivas fans. When the Chivas players were going to the fields all of the people were screaming Omar! Omar! When the announcer said that all the people that want to get an autograph come to the right aisle, I ran to try to be the first person in line. After I got my autograph the game was going to start. When the game started a few minutes later Omar scored a goal. He whapped the ball so hard it went up high in the sky and went down the goalie. The goalie jumped up to try to get the ball so it would not be a goal, but it was too late, it was a goal. We were all screaming goal!! After 5 minutes the other team tripped him and he got mud on his jersey and it ripped. All the people said that it was a foul. After the game people took pictures with the soccer players. It was a good game. I thank my mom for taking me to that game. I think it was cool that she took a day off to take me to the game.

Blue Bob's House
by Mitch Roach
Visitation School

One day there was a boy named Bob and his little tot who liked to play with toys. His house just got robbed, and all he had left was a rotted pie, a hot pot, a gob of jelly and a prize his dad Tom won. The Mom was sobbing because they had nothing. There were cops around the lot. There was also a big mob of people to see what happened. Ron stopped the mob and they went home. The family had corn on the cob for dinner. So the next day Tom got a job. Tom kept working and now they are staying at a hotel. It was so big it probably weighed five tons. In the hotel there was a big map, with a dot on it. That spot marked the hotel. Then they had enough money to move back into the house. From this day on they live there every day life.

Blue My Dog Montana
by Nadalee Ivy
Hanna Springs Intermediate

Last summer we were going to my Uncle Bubba’s house to visit. When we got there and got out of the truck there was the cutest puppy that ran out of the house. I told myself not to get too attached to the puppy. I ask my Uncle Bubba what type of dog she was and he said a Border collie. I told him, “She looks like a fuzz ball!” He said, “You mean a CHOW.” I said yes. Well she just looks like that because she is a baby with a lot of hair. I started to play with her and one thing for sure she crouched down and popped up in the air and scared me. I took off running. She took off after me. My Dad started to giggle. My brothers started to say Wow. But right before that I screamed! The puppy bit me on the rear end. My Dad burst out loud in a deep laugh. My Mom giggled and said to come show her where the puppy bit me. My Uncle Bubba said, “How about we go to town and get some lunch?” Me and my brothers screamed Yeah! But I said, “I’m not going to leave the puppy.” He said we could take her with us. So I picked up the puppy and put her in the truck. I got in and shut the door. I buckled up and put the puppy in my lap. She looked out the window and I said, “Good girls.” When we got to town Uncle Bubba’s asked us where we wanted to eat. We said Storms. So we drove across town to get to Storm’s. When we got there I picked up the puppy and carried her across the parking lot and sat her down at the table. I watched my mom and dad order food for all of us. When they got done ordering the food they sat at the table in front of as. I asked, “Why are all of you over at that table? I thought that we were sitting here?” Momma said, “There is not room for all of us to sit at the table with the puppy. So you and the puppy can sit there.” I sat with the puppy until the food cam out. Momma gave me my food and then she said to wash my hands. So I told the puppy to sit and stay. I went to the bathroom and washed my hands and dry them. I got back and said, “Now where is my hot dog?” I looked over at the puppy and she had mustard all around her mouth. I told mamma that the puppy ate my hot dog. She said, “You can have my tater tots.” When we all finished eating we went back to Uncle Bubba’s house. We went to the backyard to play with the puppy till it was time to go . Me and my brother got in the truck and buckled up. Two of my brothers fell fast asleep when mamma and daddy got in. My other brother said to daddy, “Why do you have the puppy?” Daddy said, “We own her!” When we got home I put little bows in her hair. We started talking about names when out of the blue I came up with a name. I told dad the name and he told mom and mom told the boy’s and the boy’s said, “That is a good name!” I looked down and said, “Yea that is a good name for you.” Right then, Montana, yawned and I said it is time for you to go to bed. So I put her into her low dog house.

My best friend’s name is Marissa. We Started school at Mary Bailey School and that’s when I met her. She was very nice. She has short hair and big feet. She likes the color red. Marissa likes to chew gum. She is tall and she thinks she is fat, so she runs a lap every day to get skinny. Marissa is very smart at math. She is always in a rush to do her homework, and she always turns in her homework on time. Marissa is like my sister and we help each other at school, We share everything. Sometimes we meet at the Park after school, and we play on the tire swing until we get dizzy. Then we play soccer and she rolls the ball to me. When we finish playing we eat chow. Marissa has a very posh house and a big pool .She has 3 brothers and1 dog. Her dog is three years old, and it’s a very big dog. It likes to dig in the yard. Marissa loves her dog, but she hates cats. Marissa has a very nice mom and dad. She says that her big brother acts like a fool sometimes, but it doesn’t matter I like her family anyway. I am happy that Marissa is still my friend, and I hope that next year we will still be friends at the same school.

Blue At About Noon
by Nicole Blanck
Visitation School

Just earlier today at about around noon, my friend who was in a bad mood because he stepped in some goo took or borrowed my car while I was at the pool. He was reading my book when he heard a moo and made a loop with my car. It looked like he drove it into the zoo’s cages. He got in a bad accident with a cow that made the moo and it was his doom. It took a lot of loot and tools to fix my car from the accident and his doom. But he was too poor to pay for the accident and his doom. So I had a garage sale which gave me some loot to pay for the damages. The boon of the accident was that he didn’t get hurt.

Blue My Moms Story
by Lukas Roush
Bivins Elementary

Once upon a time a big dragon tried to get a beautiful princess. She was in the mountains. She found a cave where there was a gap between the trees. The dragon is as big as a house so it could not get in and she hid there. A knight in shining armor came by and heard her crying. She was very sad because the dragon was trying to hurt her. The knight saw the tail of the dragon and knew it was trying to get someone. The knight was a very strong lad so he started to tap on the dragons tan tail. The dragon turned around and he put his sword in the dragon. It didn’t kill it and it started to fly away. He was mad because he needed to kill it. He found an ax near by and had to use it to slay the dragon. He went in and found the princess and fell in love with her. He took her to his castle and they got married. They lived happily ever after.

Blue My Cat
by Abraham Ramirez
Raye McCoy Elementary

This is the story of my cat named Snowball. When I got my cat Snowball he was very little, and very cute and happy. When he was a baby we fed him milk and we made him a bed in the corner of my room. When he sleeps he is getting energized to run fast and play. I like my cat so much that I play with him every day. Snowball has a lot of hair. When he was growing he became fat, and weighed as much as a computer. I want my cat to get skinny, because when he is skinny he can run faster. When he is fat he can’t run. When he was little he liked to play. When he was growing up he became boring like a rock, but no matter, he is still fun. You know why we named my cat Snowball?’’ He is as white as snow and when he sleeps, he curls up like a ball. That’s why we named him Snowball. My favorite thing about my cat is his eyes because they are baby blue like the color of the sky. My cat is my best friend and the best cat that I have ever had. My cat Snowball can be very mean sometimes. When I touch his belly he bites me. I think that Snowball doesn’t want to be touched on his belly.

Blue The Toy Store
by Nicholas Wallace
Mitchell Elementary School

Nat, Sam and I were walking around the block for about 5 or 10 minutes. Then around The corner we saw the dam. We pat an orange cat. We found a fat tam and saw a fat ram. Then we got to the toy store and Sam bought a fat hat. The girl manager started screaming because she saw a rat going across the wet floor. Her name is Pam. I was very surprised. I told Sam and Nat that she was one of my friends from school. She told me that she was not scared of a small rat so that day we stayed at the toy store trying to catch that small rat. The rat always escaped from us. When we got tired we kept trying and trying. That day we couldn’t catch the rat so we went home.

Blue The Worst Day Ever
by Andrew Beisel

One hot summer I was playing in the front yard and I saw football players playing football. A jeep with cheerleaders was parked so they could watch them and the jeeps wheels had spinners. The girls were eating cheese and pears and they were having tea with their friends. Behind them there was a mountain peak. I told my mom I want to watch them play so I can learn how to play football. When I went back outside they were not there. I then saw a sheep run through the field with a football shirt acting like it was crazy. Maybe the football players dressed it up to be a football player. So I went back in side to get some pears and a sheet to catch the crazy sheep. I laid out a couple of the pears and the sheep started to fall in to the trap. It came around the corner and I threw the sheet over the sheep and held him down. I safely took the shirt off the sheep then I let it go free and I still have the shirt.

Blue My Favorite Car
by Lorenzo Garcia
Raye McCoy Elementary

My favorite car is a Low Rider. I like these cars because they have a lot of contests and many people are called to bring their Low Riders so that everyone can see them. The cars have a lot of cool stuff like rims that are silver and very shiny.Thay have hydraulics that makes them jump up and down. They look like they are break dancing. Some cars have big stereos and their owners paint the cars with different shiny colors and designs that they want. Last time I saw a Low Rider car that I liked, I took a picture and it is still cool. I took a picture of the front, back and the sides of the car. I sent a picture to my cousin because he likes Low Riders too! Some Low Riders are trucks and some are cars or even bikes. Sometimes it can be an old car or a new car. Some people like to make them jump high. I want to see the Low Riders again so that I can take more pictures. I really want to see the Low Rider bikes because I want to get ideas for my own Low Rider bike. I used to have a Low Rider bike and I still have it, but I need to fix it.

Blue The Little Fuzzy Thing
by Amber Meeks
Hanna Springs Intermediate

One day there was a little fuzzy thing lying on the floor of a swamp. The little fuzzy thing was crawling up a little oak tree when suddenly a boa appeared in front of him. He fell out of the tree and into the swamp. The boa was slithering down the little oak tree. The boa said “Are you alright?” “Yes, I am alright.” he said as he was spitting moss out of his mouth. Luke the monkey pulled the boa’s tail. The boa screamed in terror, “Hey what was that for?” The monkey laughed, “I am so sorry. I thought your tail was a yummy caterpillar!” You know, a monkey, boar, and a foal are a boa’s mortal enemies. After the monkey pulled the boa’s tail a wild boar showed up. The boar had foam oozing out of his mouth. The little fuzzy thing yelled, “STOP!!! What are you doing?” “I was just trying to help,” said the boar. “But the boa is my friend he was not going to eat me. He was just asking me if I was ok! said the little fuzzy thing. The next morning the little fuzzy thing saw a picnic table. He wondered what was on the red checkered mat covering the table. He was amazed. The little fuzzy thing saw a load of food. There were peaches and a loaf of bread but he couldn’t reach them. So he asked the boa and all his friends to come with him. They were so shocked to see all the food that the boa made a funny noise. It sounded like a cheap. Everybody giggled. The boa slithered up the picnic table everybody climbed up the boa’s tail and had a grand feast.
